38.   If Youth Were Curable



If youth were curable, it wouldn’t need to be forgiven everything.



Although youth is a state of mind occurring somewhere

between infancy and adulthood, many adults still maintain

a close relationship with Peter Pan.  Adults who take a

fanciful flight with Peter, and disapprove of younger youths

zooming past them, might remind themselves there are

youngsters testing their wings with reckless abandon

for the first time, just as they had done long, long ago.
