29.   The Hawk and The Canary



The hawk is a shrewd descendant of a canary that learned

the hard way not to lend money.



The American Bald Eagle, our national bird, has devised

a new kind of credit system that allows it to borrow vast

sums of money from itself when it’s penniless, all without

fear of answering to creditors.  Our bird’s innovation is

expected to be made available to all Americans just as soon

as members of the President’s Commission on Featherhead
