27.   The Business of Nations



On the day when concerns of humanity become the

business of nations, the peoples of the world will rejoice,

and wild elephants will perform Beethoven’s Eroica.



Before there were international terrorists, a CIA, an FBI ―

or for that matter, the alphabet’s ABC ― there was Ug the

Dazzler exercising eminent domain to commandeer Oog

the Gullible’s cave for the common good of stockpiling stone

weapons.  Ug the Dazzler was simply conducting business in

the Neanderthal tradition, and the common good has been

getting the business ever since.
