22. The Wisdom of Experience
Knowledge becomes wisdom once it’s been schooled by
the sharp stick of experience.
The wise old owl was a dodo bird until someone declared
the latter extinct. That narrow escape wisened the owl
considerably, taught him to keep himself scarce from
hunters and other adventurous citizens bearing firearms.
